CIVIL ENGINEER / TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Khalid Lawal graduated from the University of Ilorin, Ilorin with a degree in Civil engineering (B.Eng.). He afterwards went to pursue a course in Project Management (PMP). He is an international member of NSBE, holding vast positions in their ranks for engineering development in Nigeria Khalid Lawal is the Senior Civil Engineer of AEK Building and Civil engineering Construction Company, and a devout fundamentalist in construction and engineering processes
Prior to the establishment of the company, Khalid Lawal was privileged to gather experience from all the parts of Nigeria, after working with Funsho Nig Ltd in Ilorin for the reconstruction of the Emir’s palace wing. He joined UPDC PLC and was part of the project management team that built Metro garden Estate in Lekki and Grandville Estate in GRA, Lagos. After being transferred to Abuja to join the team who delivered Metro City Estate development for the aforementioned company, his dedicated service was being called upon in other real estate development and management such as Pinnock beach estate Site Phase 1 & 2.
He has also worked with Chavic Global Projekts Ltd. in Lagos for the construction of Opebi Mews Estate. He is an affable being with a quest for knowledge, infrastructural development and part of the budding engineering team building a change in Nigeria.
Feeling a need to stand out, he joined resources with Ogundiran Akinkunmi to build a real estate development company with means to facilitate the construction of modern designs and put Nigeria on the trail of leading infrastructures. AÉK Building and Civil engineering Company has since been present in development all around Nigeria with a major foothold in Lagos. Khalid enjoys meeting people and sharing ideas, reading and traveling. He enjoys art in form of paintings and classical music. Apart from structural developments, he tends to devote his time to research on environmental engineering and conservation in the view of combing new green technology in building developments.
